Drawing on previous experience in an advisory role, you will be responsible for growing the assets of a well-established, client-centric financial planning practice. You must be a self-motivated/managed and disciplined individual with an entrepreneurial spirit who has a passion for servicing and working with clients.

SPECIFICALLY YOU WILL

• Provide financial planning support to GIBBINGS & ASSOCIATES Private Wealth;
• Develop and formulate concepts, using a financial planning software, intended to implement financial planning strategies;
• Support all business development activities and assist in the development of investment plans and written proposals for prospects and clients;
• Complete needs analysis for clients using a Financial Planning Software;
• Prepare presentations and concept pieces for use in implementing financial planning strategies; and
• Review client accounts, execute trade orders, maintain account lists, track client documentation, and explain product, services and strategies to clients directly.

TO QUALIFY FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY YOU SHOULD POSSESS

• Experience in the financial services industry;
• Knowledge of financial planning systems (PFP, NaviPlan, etc.);
• Knowledge of tax and financial planning products and services (personal and collective);
• Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC), in BC, Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) or willing to obtain;
• CFP® designation or willing to obtain.
• Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build relationships.
